Many
independent and government
monitoring sites are designed to show real time radiation
information.
This post
was last updated on 10/4/11. Please
add any additional Radiation
Monitoring Websites you may know of to the comments section. I will review
submissions and post
the sources that appear reputable.
NORTH AMERICA
RadiationNetwork.com: independent, monitors ~35
locations in North America. The
map updates every minute. For
full functionality, buy their software. Better yet, use home
computer and an approved
Geiger Counter to add your own automatically updating station to
the Radiation
Network Map
BlackCatSystems
Radiation
Detector Map: similar to RadiationNetwork.com but with a
more user friendly
map. Fewer detectors
than RadiationNetwork.com
but servicing different locations.
USA,
EPA, official
monitoring sites: Now featuring an interactive map to view
“Near-Real-Time”
stationary air monitor data. Note: The EPA has NOT been
conducting
significant Precipitation, Drinking Water, and Milk tests in the
months since
the Fukushima meltdowns. Additionally,
the
results of EPA tests are not easily accessed, easy to read, or
otherwise user
friendly. They could do
a lot more and
make it much more user friendly.

CA, Ashland, OR,
Anchorage, AK and Maui, HI.

Monica, West LA: independent source, real time, live video
