Redesigning RESPECT! 1976's Winona: Towards An Energy Conserving Community

I used to love strolling though the stacks of the Alcuin Library in Collegeville, Minnesota.  Though uncomfortably modern, the massive building housed a world-renowned collection of ancient manuscripts.  It's brutally minimalist architecture demanded respect.

As I fished for knowledge, it always floored me how painfully irrelevant or misleading the majority of books seemed.  A minority of books caught my eye, a select few proved captivating, and the occasional gem would boost my faith in humanity.

The Alcuin Library basement is an underground bomb shelter of smooth grey concrete lined with endless stacks of ancient books.  Well, ancient by my standards, anyway... and spanning the spectrum of topics which had been banished to "The Dungeon".  Most of the books down there were nonsensical, incomprehensible, or worse, but The Dungeon also yielded  the sweetest fruits.  That's where I discovered Thoreau's Journal, Paolo Soleri's Arcosanti, and the under-appreciated works of Kurt Vonnegut.

I'll never forget finding one of the greatest books I discovered in college.  It jumped out at me from the discard stack, so I bought it for a quarter.  The soft cover, coffee-table-sized book caught my eye because my hometown's name graced it's cover.  WINONA: Towards an Energy Conserving Community.

The book is the product of a year's work (1974-75) by the Energy Design Studio at the University of Minnesota School of Architecture.  A group of graduate students under the guidance of visionary architect Dennis R. Holloway modeled the transition of Winona, MN towards sustainability.  It was written in response to the energy issues America was facing at the time due to US domestic oil production decline after it's 1970 peak and unpredictable oil prices due to the mid-70s' OPEC oil embargo.

In Winona: Towards An Energy Conserving Community they laid out the blueprint, timeline, and motivation for turning my hometown of 30,000 people into a self-sustaining, re-localized community.  All the particulars of Peak Oil were explained lucidly.  The integrated solutions we needed to transition towards sustainability were showcased thoroughly.  Basically, everything we should have started doing 25 years ago was laid out in great detail in that 35 year old book.

This visionary work by University of Minnesota architecture students would have been so inspiring to read in the year of my birth, 1981.  When I stumbled across it in 2004 it spoke more of humanity's greed, foolishness, and capacity to deny the obvious.  Though so simple a child could understand it, this book was apparently so ahead of it's time that even now most people haven't awakened to it's truths.

The collective consciousness has been so thoroughly raped by misinformation, distraction, and spin that obvious solutions to obvious problems meet near universal resistance.  Humanity seems bent on doing things the hard way.  Let's change that.

Here's a good place to start... even if we are 35 years late to the Appropriate Technologists' Party.

More pages of Winona: Towards an Energy Conserving Community are available here.

Note the graph of Peak Fossil Fuel Usage behind these guys hand-stenciling letters on a display back in the mid-70s'.  We got the point then, so why can't we admit it again now?

And remember: always check the discard pile.  How's that old saying go?  Oh yeah...

World's Largest Beer-a-mid? Nah, Just a Tombstone for the Oil Age: Christo's Mastaba

Proposed Mastaba: 500 foot tall stack of empty oil barrels.

Constructed of 410,000 stainless steel 55-gallon drums.
Over the centuries, humanity has erected monuments to commemorate our achievements, atrocities, the passing of colossal egos, and other historical shit.

As the Oil Age skids to a halt, we should consider what to leave behind as testament to our era "in the driver's seat".

What defines us?

What will be our legacy?

How best do we sum up humanity's wild ride fueled by cheap, liquid energy?

Alcohol fuels our social lives just as Oil has fueled the last decades of technological progress, economic growth, resource warfare, and spiritual regression.

Nothing seems more fitting than a gigantic stack of empties.  The party's over.

Just as a beer-a-mid memorializes a big weekend of drinkin', a gigantic pyramid constructed of oil drums would let future generations know exactly what went down when the monkeys got into Mama Earth's liquor cabinet.

But pyramids have already been done, and are so Egyptian.  A "mastaba" (arabic for bench) would be unique and much easier to build since it's really just a gigantic stack of tipped-over oil barrels.

Back in the late 70s' the artist Christo unveiled plans for this gigantic Mastaba to be built in the United Arab Emirates.

Christo calls the proposed Mastaba "a work of art whose only purpose is to be itself", so I'm sure he won't mind if the rest of us attach our own meanings.

I see a tasteful tombstone for one of the most foolish and short-sighted cultures in history.

I sincerely hope this thing gets built.

Once the oil is gone, what else are we going to do with all those empty barrels?

I guess we could recycle them to save future generations a few bucks, but who really cares about the future at all anymore?

Also, by current standards 410k barrels of oil  isn't very much.

When global oil production peaked in 2006, humanity pissed through 85.6 MILLION barrels of oil PER DAY.  A mere one day's supply would fill ~210 of Christo's Mastabas.

Over the last 10 years humanity has burned through enough oil to fill ~720,000 Mastabas this gigantic.  Just how big, you ask?

• Bigger than the largest pyramid in Giza, Egypt.

• 150 meters (492 feet) high.
• 225 meters (738 feet) deep.
• 300 meters (984 feet) wide.

Try to wrap your head around the total volume of that structure.

Surely it's enough space to rival the total volume of the largest stadiums on the planet.

Imagine the biggest stadium you've ever been to.

Now imagine 200 of those stadiums side by side.

Now imagine those 200 stadiums are all filled to the brim with oil.

That's what it takes to keep the global economy rolling along for just One. More. Day.

Most of that oil is burned wastefully in non-essential applications.  All that carbon floats off into the atmosphere as carcinogens and greenhouse gases.

The Oil Age is not sustainable.

The Oil Age is in it's death throes.

If we kill it willfully and mark it's grave well, perhaps some of our foolishness will pass away with it.

More Info on Christo's Mastaba... let's get the fucker built.

Lay Off The Sauce and Spread Truth For Our Childrens' Sake

Imagine if back around 2005, Whistleblowing Revolutionaries forced George Bush to go on TV and say something like this:

"My fellow Americans, we are invading Iraq because we need more oil.

Our Nation's economy is entirely dependent upon cheap oil.  The fortunes of my constituency are also very, ha, heavily invested.

Increasing global demand coupled with global supply limitations makes this an unfortunate and inconvenient truth from here on out.

We Americans must work together to decrease our dependence on all oil, rebuild our economy utilizing unprecedented innovation, and continue leading the world forward in the new millenium.

But yeah, for right now, we're stuck in the role of global aggressor because of our ongoing failures to innovate, regulate, and above all else, our collective unwillingness to contemplate cooperatively."

But that speech was never given because leadership wasn't being held accountable by the 4th Pillar of Government: THE FREE PRESS.

Our corrupt political establishment is annoyingly butt hurt by Julian Assange and WikiLeaks.  Loonies like Palin have gone so far as to label WikiLeaks a terrorist organization, as if Truth, Transparency, andTrust  somehow threaten actual democracy.

We, the People, are expected to believe that our government's ability to operate in total secrecy is crucial to our safety and well-being.  It sounds reasonable at first glance, but a little analysis proves that shady and dis-informed democracy is dangerous.  Recent history abounds with examples of governance gone horribly wrong because secrecy ruled the day.

Back in early 2001 -- just two weeks into his sketchily "elected" presidency -- George Bush created a secretive Energy Task Force.  VP Dick Cheney met privately over 40 times with Big Dogs from oil companies and corporate scheisters of Energy like the pension-stealing Ken Lay of ENRON.

Released Doc from Cheney's Energy Task Force
Cheney and Company refused to comment publicly about what they were discussing, and after years of legal wrangling the topics are still shrouded in secrecy.  We do know, however, that they discussed oil, Iraqi oil, and impending global Peak Oil Production.

A few months later the Twin Towers fell, and the stage was set to invade Iraq under the false pretense of Operation "Iraqi Freedom".

If an organization like WikiLeaks had existed then, maybe the fraud of Bush's election would have been fully exposed to the Mainstream.

Maybe the secret agenda of that oil-thirsty, corporate-bought administration would have been obvious from the get go.

Maybe most Americans would have realized that we were invading Iraq and Afghanistan chiefly to secure another decade of cheap oil.

Maybe many Americans, armed with the Truth regarding WTF was actually going on, would have realized the seriousness of Peak Oil a decade earlier and started implementing pro-active innovations to prepare Our Nation for the Post-Peak Oil World.  Maybe more Americans would have realized that our only long-term salvation came by way of drastically different values, a selective shakedown, and massive investments in EDUCATION and (implemented) INNOVATION.

Had an organization like WikiLeaks existed, we'd have known just what Bush and Cheney were up to.  Then, perhaps, more Americans would have realized that our only long-term salvation came in drastically different values, a selective shakedown, and massive investments in EDUCATION and IMPLEMENTED INNOVATION.

But that never happened either.

So here America stands: heavily medicated, blackout drunk on oil, completely scatterbrained, and right on the verge of chaos.

What would it take to push us over the edge?  The loss of FREE SPEECH and OPEN COMMUNICATION NETWORKS would certainly do it.

Don't Fuck with Our Internet.

300 YEARS OF FOSSIL-FUELED FUN IN 5 MINUTES

In other news, it's good to see this crew digging their own graves.

See, it's DOCUMENTED that BUSH and CHENEY knew all about Peak Oil by early 2001.  In fact they based their most critical actions upon it.  Why did they lie to us and force America into two endless wars in the Middle East?

OIL, obviously.

I'm not opposed to fighting for something we need, but it'd make a heck of a lot more sense to stop pretending we need it.  I don't.  You don't.  Only THEY do... and only to build something they've already got too much of: WEALTH and POWER.

Sick Bastards.  Let's all help them get better.  Well, at least the next crop...

Cheney looks like he's on his last legs... so long... I hear Hell's hot this time of year.

Clearly Laura and Condi have never used a shovel before in their lives...

The Great American Wank Up Call: Jerk the Jerkoffs Off the Road

I’m in a LOVE/HATE relationship with cigarettes, alcohol, adrenaline, and the internal combustion engine.  My name is Max Mogren, and I'm a struggling Oilaholic.

Thirteen years ago when I started driving, gas was only 89 cents a gallon.  Talk about cheap thrills!

I remember the day I got my driver's license.  It lingers in memory like the first time I got laid, exceptional trips, mind-blowing concerts, getting shacked, and magic moments shared with good friends in perfect snow.  At the impressionable age of 16, gaining all that POWER and FREEDOM was an intoxicating experience.

It's no wonder most Americans suffer from a nasty driving habit: we were all just kids when we first got hooked.

I love jumping behind the wheel and cruising off on adventures, but hate flushing my money down the tank.  I appreciate the modern conveniences that fossil fuels provide, but hate how lazy and entitled we've become.  Most importantly, the environmental destruction of our collective Oil Addiction is too blatant to ignore, and that same Oil Addiction undeniably prompts our endless, blossoming wars.

Kurt Vonnegut explained our predicament in his last book, A Man Without A Country:

We are all addicts of fossil fuels in a state of denial, about to face cold turkey. And like so many addicts about to face cold turkey, our leaders are now committing violent crimes to get what little is left.

Yours Truly During Dumber Days In Baja: It's not my truck, but I did saw the roof off.
Contrary to popular disbelief, there isn't that much Oil left, especially when you consider skyrocketing global demand.  Chinese consumers bought 8.7 million new automobiles in 2007, 9.4 million in 2008, 13.8 million in 2009, and are expected to buy 16 million more by the end of 2010.  Here in the US, we buy about 11 million new vehicles annually, excluding snowmachines, RVs, motorcycles, quads, viagratized golf carts, and other frivolous crap.

China already uses more total energy than we do, and it’s thirst for oil is rapidly approaching our own.  Factor in everything else dependent on oil, and it’s no wonder that humanity uses 85 million barrels PER DAY.

Despite all the hype, only 3% of energy consumed by the USA comes from “green” power sources like wind and solar.  Ethanol is a cruel joke.  It takes more fossil fuel energy to produce ethanol than one gets from burning it.  Turning all that corn into moonshine drives up global food demand and literally prices the planet's poorest people right out of existence.

This is no doubt troubling, but what really concerns me is that oil demand keeps rising though global oil production peaked in 2005.  Militaries, governments, and corporations have announced that production will soon start declining.

No matter how deep we drill, how much groundwater we ruin by fracking, or how big the slag heaps of processed tar sands become, we already struggle to maintain adequate supply.  Conservative estimates predict a 3-5% decrease in Global Oil Production annually.

Not One Of My Prouder Moments...
Best case scenario, by the year 2030 7+ billion people are peacefully sharing HALF the oil we now consume.  Worst case scenario, in the near future fossil fuel dependent economies collapse further, and energy issues kick off a global resource war.  Unless a massive shift in consciousness occurs around the world, our lust for Oil will be our destruction.

Across Our Nation, a hundred million people drive like fucking idiots.  They treat their vehicles like extensions of their sex organs and assume throttling around at 75 is a god-given right.  They rarely leave home without an automotive exoskeleton and go barreling through life with no plan and minimal awareness.  These people are JERKOFFS, stroking their egos at the expense of international security.

Mountain towns are by no means immune to this sub-human species.  Each summer we’re visited by hordes of arrogant Wino-Dinos piloting absurdly wasteful RVs.  Year round we’ve got jacked up pickup trucks, suburban assault vehicles, solo drivers in empty cars, and frivolous waste of all kinds.  Even on the sweetest spring days, 95 of a hundred Rocky Mountain people putz around behind the wheel when a bike, skateboard, moped, or their own two feet would easily do the trick.

If driving all over the place every fucking day wasn’t so accepted, our friends and neighbors would stop jerking off with the most precious resource on the planet.  Given the seriousness of the global energy crunch, it is our sacred duty to let them know that frivolous fuel consumption is a Highway to Hell.  I am therefore proposing the Great American Wank Up Call: JERK THE JERKOFFS OFF THE ROAD.

Exhibit A: Foolish Person Jerking Off.
The middle finger is offensive, but the universal sign for JERKING OFF is hilarious.  Wherever you find yourself reading this, go ahead and try it.  If you want to get really sassy, cap it off with a flourishing spurt like Leslie Chow in the desert scene of The Hangover.

When you’re walking, skating, biking, or carpooling and you spot absurd vehicles or wasteful behavior, proudly raise your arm and vigorously alert the community to the presence of JERKOFFS.  Perhaps point at the offender with one hand while stroking the sky with the other.  Once you’ve got their attention throw a spurt into a wave as they roll on by.

If they slam on their brakes to confront you, whip out a digicam and catch their antics for digital distribution.  Try to explain your reasoning as best you can.  If they’re bent on a fight, let them swing first and then beat the piss out of them.  Sometimes tough love is the only way to get your point across.

Peace.

Bullshit Shattering Revelations Compliments of Some Great Fucking Songs...

Those behind the misinformative media machine would rather us all remain brainwashed so they can further their agenda of global domination.  I'm not having it.

Their sandcastle of false promises and fake fears is crumbling as growing waves of consciousness degrade it's foundations.  Can you feel it?  I can, and it's beautiful.

The existing power structure is going to fall soon.  Why not give it a push...

After all, their only power over many of us is a well spun definition of "success" which has been gently pounded into our heads since youth.  We're meant to believe that material wealth and power over others is the root of happiness.  Real world experience shows that this couldn't possibly be true.

Don't waste the prime of your life conforming and competing in hopes of retiring at middle age to a carefree and cushy existence.  Trust me: it won't be there by the time you get there... and even if it is, you'll have squandered your youth and so much legitimate opportunity that your only reconciliation will be the incessant consumption of trivial and wasteful experiences.

If you're one of the few who end up "making it", here's what you'll gain from your labors...

You may travel around the world, but you won't discover anything.

You may have more money than you can spend, but it'll burden you more than it serves.

You may have power over others, but they will hate and mock you behind your back.

You may build your own little empire, but will have to maintain and protect it for as long as it stands.

You may eat the finest foods, but they'll do nothing to nourish your stunted and sickly soul.

You may live long, but the longer you live the more painfully aware you will become of your utter pointlessness.

Eventually, you will realize that you stood against human evolution and your life was at best inconsequential and at worst counterproductive or destructive.

I say it's better to live fully right now with no expectation of ever "making it".  You only live once, and the older you get the more stuck in their ways you'll become.  Break out now.

See the problem is that our world is overrun by big babies who've never gotten past their terrible twos.  They're all about ME, ME, ME and to hell with everyone and everything else.  If Our Generation has anything worth doing in these doomy days, surely it is throwing wrenches into their maddening machine.

There's a song about those who squandered their one short life.  I listened to it a thousand times in high school, and it no doubt has helped me avoid squandering mine.

I encourage you to follow along with the words because this young man from Texas is screaming truths which we can all benefit from acknowledging.

Strung Out - Rottin' Apple

Hey tired man I see you walk alone.
The wrinkles on you face, a map of all your pain.
Your expression becomes an open book of time, filled with pages of forgotten hopes.
Good intentions, regret, disillusion with life, animosity, unbridled purity.
All these things that I swear I see, and your eyes tell me that you could never be.

So many times I've stared into the eyes of the young, the old, the lonely and the wise.
To find a glimpse of all I have not seen .
To find some peace for my jaded mind.
Don't wanna live my life by the second hand of a clock that's long since past me by.
You say I've got to stay in line,
Well your line is going nowhere and so are you.

Choices decisions made smokin' away the pain inside.
Sit back and watch it all go by.
We could never find the peace of mind we need,
We hid it all away for another day.
Sit back everything's gonna be alright.

Rivers of pain map your agin' skin.
Your expression a journal  of where you've been.
All your dreams and your chances lost.
You walk along that dotted line.

Do you remember a time when you used to dream?
Do you remember a time when you used to live?
All your dreams and chances they're all gone.
So you gave it all away unable to say all you wanna say.
Look at you now - turned out to be the face of misery.
Look at you now a rottin apple's all I see.

Their other power is fear.  Fear that if you stick up for what's right and speak your mind, you will be ostracized or incarcerated.  No one wants to go to prison, but that's exactly where you'll end up if you don't toe their line.  Right?  Nah.

For decades countless people have screamed the truth with little or no consequences.  Many of these people have become truly successful entirely because they were so damn vocal and honest.

If you want YOUR LIFE to amount to more than acquiring your own little hill of digital beans, seek the truth at all costs and spread it regardless of consequence.

To be continued...

OIL FREE MOVIE NIGHT!

There are countless great documentary films that do a better job showcasing the TRUTH than I can.  Amazingly, they're all available online for FREE.

Pop some corn.  Grab a sixer.  Sit back with a few good friends and learn more in a few short hours than most discover during four years of college.  You will be tested on this material... the only question is when and where.

COLLAPSE showcases the study of Michael C. Ruppert, former LAPD narcotics cop and longtime investigative journalist.  Watch COLLAPSE here and then check out his online community CollapseNet.

The Obama Deception by Alex Jones' INFOWARS exposes the New World Order's dubious underlying motives and offers solutions for how to deal with them.  There are some great interviews with hip-hop legend KRS-ONE throughout this video... notably the one where he discusses ENDURANCE.

The End of Liberty by Inflation.us shows us how ridiculously fascist our country is becoming in fighting the endless war on "terrorism".  It turns out the only terrorists we really have to worry about are the ones who are stringing us along with unnecessary fears.  Not coincidentally, these terrorists are the same ones robbing the rest of America via inflation and other "taxation without representation" to fund their desperate attempts at global dominance.

Loose Change 9/11 exposes the United States historical trend of attacking itself (or at least letting someone else attack unopposed) in order to gain public support for unjust wars.  The film also completely debunks the bullshit cover ups of the 9/11 Commission.

If you do any homework on 9/11 and force yourself to assess the real facts surrounding the whole disaster, it becomes glaringly obvious that Bush, Cheney, and other powerful people planned and carried out the disaster to kickstart the War on Terror, the War in Iraq, and the War in Afghanistan.

9/11 was obviously an inside job, and if you don't believe that you haven't been exposed to the real facts.

9/11 conspiracy theory isn't a fringe looney thing.  By visiting any of these sites you'll notice countless well-informed and reputable professionals are willing to put their reputations (and safety) on the line to secure the truth about who planned, funded, and carried out the 9/11 attacks.  Check it out!

COFFINS and SPIDERS and WEBS, OH MY!

Where is our money going?  Why is it that the Federal Reserve can print TRILLIONS of dollars for bailouts but the average American becomes more desperate by the day?

The answer isn't all the complicated: just follow the Yellow Brick Road!  I assure you it all ends up in WALL STREET, America's Gold Brickin' District.

Though big bankers produce absolutely nothing of value and are committing fraud daily, 2010 is turning out to be the most profitable year in American History for the Billionaire Buttfuckers of WALL STREET.

Meanwhile, the rest of America is sinking deeper into the DEPRESSION.  This is not a coincidence.  I call them "buttfuckers" because they're ass raping US.

One of the most powerful tools being used to violate us is the hidden tax called INFLATION.  Inflation takes away Americans' spending power while artificially propping up the stock market: when dollars are worth less, shares of stock are worth more of them.

Every time the FEDERAL RESERVE prints more money to bail out the fraudulent, unnecessary banks, WE taxpayers pick up the tab.  Not only that, but what little money we have left loses value because the economy is being flooded with new money.  Adding insult to injury, the big banks take the money GIVEN to them and invest it in developing countries where the potential profits are bigger: they're NOT investing it to help out struggling Americans. The rest of us are truly getting screwed.
You need to know that the Federal Reserve is NOT a government entity: it is a private MEGABANK.  "The FED" was schemed up by the wealthiest men in the world in 1910 at a secret meeting on Jekyll Island, Georgia .  In 1913 they snuck the FED into a powerful position as a temporary emergency measure to liquefy the currency for World War I.

Though it is not part of Our Government and shouldn't even exist anymore, the Federal Reserve now has more power over the US Economy than the US Government has.  The FED creates money out of thin air -- reoccurring bank bailouts are just one example.  All the money it creates, it lends with interest.  It's biggest customer is the US Government.  The interest is paid by us.

In short, the FED controls Our Money Supply and profits from it.  The national debt is owed to the FED, but I say fuck em'.  Let's strategically default on that loan.

If you could create money out of thin air, would you take advantage of that ability?  I know I would!  The billionaire buttfuckers who run the Federal Reserve CAN and DO.

Every dollar you've ever made came from the Federal Reserve.  Take one out of your wallet and see for yourself.  Right at the top it sez "FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE".

Dollars didn't always look like this.  Before the FED started horribly manipulating Our Currency, US Dollars were backed by Gold or Silver and looked like this.

Read the fine print...

"This certifies that there has been deposited in the Treasury of The United States Of America One Silver Dollar payable to the bearer on demand."

Back in the day, you could take a dollar bill to the US Treasury and exchange it for Pure Silver... a semi-precious tangible asset.

Nowadays, if you went to Washington and tried to exchange a Federal Reserve Note, they'd have nothing to offer you but thin air.  You'd probably get tazered and interrogated as well.

Over the last century, the FED has become the local office for a GLOBAL BANKING CARTEL.  This cartel includes the Bank of England, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the"national" banks of numerous other countries, and the BIG BANKS here in the USA.

When they're in trouble, the BIG BANKS can count on a bailout from the FED... even if they caused the trouble themselves.  They're like a bunch of spoiled adult children whose bad habits daddy keeps funding.

A small local bank or credit union has no such protection from DADDYPANTS.   When a little bank gets in trouble, it is eaten by the BIG BANKS.  Competition is eliminated and wealth is consolidated in the hands of the Billionaire Buttfuckers who run the Global Banking Cartel.

A few years back - right here in Jackson Hole - my local bank got bought out.  I felt the impact immediately.

I was travelling in Central America and suddenly my debit and credit cards no longer worked.  The same happened to a good friend who was skiing in Argentina.  We got hung out to dry by this inconsiderate and greedy system.  Luckily we had good friends we could call on when we needed a little "bailout" of our own.

I'd love to see Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke stranded on the streets of Nicaragua with no means by which to support himself.  Maybe then he'd gain a little understanding as to what it feels like to get spit out of the godless and gutless system which he now controls.

The FED has printed TRILLIONS in the last few years which is causing rampant inflation.  They plan to print TRILLIONS more in the very near future which could lead to hyperinflation.  Everyday essentials keep going up in price because the money in Our pockets is becoming worthless.

This graph is from 2002.  The situation is growing much worse now.

The wealthiest assholes are hoping suckers will keep buying into the system right up until the moment when they cause the stock market to crash again.  The big dogs are selling in the weeks before the crash, and their plan is to reinvest once it bottoms out.    This is exactly what happened during the great stock market crash of 1929.

Don't believe me?  Then read this book:

Reading at least the first and last several chapters will clarify what's going on and help you channel your rage.

Just like the Wizard of OZ, Our World's "men behind the curtain" are only powerful so long as the rest of us don't know who they are.  Fortunately - all over the world - countless people know everything about them.  More people come to understand their secretive manipulations ways by the day!

The widespread growth in awareness taking place right now is truly amazing.

After a few weeks of intense homework I know who they are and what they're all about.  By the end of this you'll know too.  Let yourself believe.

Know that I've got no reason to lie... I'm not making a dime for sharing this information.

Know that the BILLIONAIRE BUTTFUCKERS have every reason to lie.  Their wealth and power rests entirely upon the ignorance of the American People.  They don't want you capable of critical thinking.  Just listen to the wisdom of George Carlin...

The whole situation stinks, but fortunately...

I enjoy looking at the traffic stats for my blog because it reminds me why I'm studying and writing about real world shit.  It's nice to know people are reading it.  Big thanks - personally - to YOU for your precious attention.

Today I glanced at the visitor graph and noticed a needle-like spike at exactly 2:00 am.  I've never had more than 100 people on the site at any given time, but in the wee hours of this morning 332 people magically tuned in for less than one minute and then went back to bed.  Also amazing, each visitor went directly to a different page of my blog.  No search engines.  No external links.

Obviously a SPIDER downloaded my entire blog, and it's probably under review by an entity more powerful than I.  I can't help but suspect that I'm under analysis by some manifestation of big money and/or big gubber-mint.

I expected this after publishing the Stash Yer Cache article last week.  Offering real world advice as opposed to mere commentary must cross some fine line.  I was already audited by a few young spies during the Foster Friess Fiasco, so it's no wonder I'm getting a deeper look now.

Frankly, I'm glad the old system is paying attention - maybe they'll learn something - but I can't help feeling a little paranoid.  As Pink Floyd pondered, "What do you want from me?"

Last I checked there were very few English Majors employed at the Pentagon.  I hope whatever young pup or computer program they're employing to assess my opinions doesn't lump me too high on the potential threat list.  I don't want to get detained at the airport en route to visiting my family or suffer a Cheney-esque hunting accident.

I ALWAYS look both ways before crossing the street, NEVER contemplate suicide, RARELY mess with potentially fatal drugs, and FREQUENTLY knock on wood.  Also, my karma is pretty clean.

Unless I die by avalanche, it's safe to assume I got OFFED.  This is not paranoia.  The existing powers kill people ever day.  It's reality.  Welcome to it.  Good morning, America!

See, near as I can tell, there are two types of über-powerful people in OUR country.  It's safe to assume that people like me piss off both types.  I say...

Fuck em'!  They can't do half what they say, and their power slips away by the day.

The New Money Illionaires are in it for the PERSONAL SATISFACTION which wealth and status provides.  These foolish fools are overtly greedy, individualistic, and don't want anything standing in the way of their dominance.

As such, they hate government meddling and any sort of regulation.  Unfortunately, they don't realize this mentality isn't feasible on a FINITE PLANET.  My old buddy Fosta Freeze is one of this kind: he has to pay people to come to his parties as do all New Money Illionaires.

The Fabian Society pounding Earth into shape.
(I'm in the bottom left corner right behind Orson Wells.)
The Old Money Illionaires are a more complicated crew, and they've got the reins to the FED.  No longer jazzed up by mere billions, these dipshits suffer from guilt along with their greed.  Merely obtaining MORE has lost it's appeal.  The thrill is gone!

Those among them with generational aspirations to DO SOMETHING MEANINGFUL with their wealth find themselves in a bit of a pickle these days.  Here's why:

The viagratized societal pillars of INFINITE GROWTH and TECHNOLOGISM recently spurted up their own asses... and then went perpetually limp.  That big gamble has proven a loss: humanity has no way to colonize new planets, and the gajillionaires aren't going anywhere.  They're stuck right here with the rest of us.

Meanwhile, as the result of a few centuries filled with technological advancement and "too much prosperity" there are now billions of entitled people consuming Earth's limited resources and trashing the place.  Surely you agree on at least this point.

Dwindling oil supplies are becoming a very real threat to human society, but most people couldn't give half a shit.  They either don't know better or don't want the party to end.

The Old Money Illionaires no doubt resent this situation.  They don't want the workers trashing the place.  They've got the power to change things, so they're trying to "save the planet".  They've gotten organized, and are plotting the most catastrophic shift in human history: a NEW WORLD ORDER.

Sadly, their NEW WORLD ORDER doesn't include your jacked up 1984 Ford Bronco.... or the cute little kids on the tailgate.  Sorry.

See, the one thing their TECHNOLOGISM has done is dramatically decrease the need for HUMAN WORKERS.  Robots and computers can already do most things better than us pesky old humans ever could.  Also, minus the huge population, most jobs wouldn't need to exist.

Right now the mass of men have nothing tangible to offer the Old Money Illionaires but their own destruction.  They apply the corporate model to global affairs, and the layoffs are escalating.

In the end, who destroys whom remains to be seen.  I'm rooting for the little guy because I am one.

Where do your cards fall?

The wisest Old Money Illionaires know there'll be no growing out of the current predicament: because of overpopulation and energy scarcity, contraction is the only option.

Since widespread prosperity is "part of the problem", the Old Money Illonaires have had to get really creative in the last few years.  They're intentionally destroying the US and global economy in a backasswards attempt to "save the planet".  They rank with the sickest and most deranged people in human history.  But they're not stupid...

Imploding the global economy decreases the use of energy and other resources.  It destabilizes communities leading to violence and lower population.  It creates poverty which causes disease and starvation.  It is sure to cause an endless war which further decreases the population while making the BIG DOGS richer.  If the GLOBAL BANKING CARTEL wins, EVERYBODY else loses.

In their steely eyes, workers must always be put in their place.  Slaves get shackles, drones get cubicles, soldiers get barracks, and a "lucky" few of the billions facing permanent unemployment already have their coffins awaiting.

A good number of Americans are slated to end up in these.  I figure they can fit at least 2-3 bodies in each.

This pic of the coffins is exceptionally informative, and you'll notice our beloved Tetons looking majestic as always in the background.

Frankly, I'd love to get my hands on some of these coffins: they appear to be perfect backcountry storage boxes, and the irony would be delightful.  They also look like great livestock troughs, rainwater storage containers, etc.

Instead of investing our tax dollars in preparation for the wholesale slaughter of Americans, why not let us put our coffins to good use in sustainable living instead?!

I say they send every American their coffin and let them use it as they see fit.  After all, we're paying for this shit.

If the coffins aren't enough to convince you the incarceration and elimination of unnecessary Americans isn't a part of the grand scheme, take a look at the "camps" that FEMA has invested countless tax dollars in.  There are over 800 FEMA "camps" in the US and they all look something like this...

Watch the whole video.  Notice how the barbed wire is angled to keep people in as opposed to out.

Personally, I plan to bartend my way through Armageddon.  Poor people who are failing to make ends meet feel the need to drink.  And rich people love boozing, especially when they've got a few billion murdered souls to drink off their minds.

Just a few years back they could get away with GENOCIDE and noone would bat an eye.  The problem is that now they're fucking with wrong people.  Americans aren't as stupid as they'd like to believe.

I will defend MY HOME, MY FAMILY, and MY FRIENDS until there is no breath left in my body.

Foreclosure This!

I personally know several people who've gotten fucked by the big banks' real estate scheme.  These acquaintances are friendly, reliable, hard-working Americans.  All of them are currently employed full-time or more, but -- for one reason or another -- all have suffered pay cuts in the last few years.  None of them went out on a limb and bought outside their means: like so many other people, they're just suffering the ill effects of our ongoing economic DEPRESSION.

Some have been forced out of their homes.  Some are falling behind on their mortgages.  Some are sick of scrambling to pay down the overinflated price tag of a home that they know will continue losing value.  Remember: the bubble popped by DESIGN.

Meanwhile, Wall Street is paying it's minions all-time-record wages to the tune of $140 billion in 2010.  Mind you, this is just the money on the books: I'm sure additional perks and bonuses numbering in the big billions are also being "rewarded" for their hard work in bankrupting the rest of Our Nation.

Frankly, I'm disgusted by people who overextended themselves on a massive mortgage, refinanced to buy a bunch of crap, and, generally, embodied the CONSUMERISM that puts us at odds with the natural world.  BUT I'm even more disgusted by the people who put that system in place, promoted it, perpetuated it, manipulated it, and are now profiting from its collapse.

Bottom line: poor people need homes more than bailed-out banks need additional assets.

Our economic system is inherently flawed and utterly screwed, so we're being forced into the massive change currently taking place.  Instead of fighting over what's whose it makes a hell of a lot more sense to acknowledge our flaws and fix them.  What flaws?

1.  INFINITE GROWTH is a stupid and impossible goal.  Planet Earth can't handle such a fundamental idiocy at the root of several billion peoples' dysfunctional lifestyles.

2.  "CREATING JOBS" for it's own sake is counterproductive because most jobs are frivolous, wasteful, and -- on a planetary scale -- destructive.  90+% of real work is done by computers, machines, and dirt poor people half the world away: it's amazing US unemployment is ONLY around ~15%.

People shouldn't have to work 40+ hours a week doing something they know is pointless just to maintain the fiction of earning one's keep.  Let's use our technology and creativity to LIBERATE people instead of chaining them to jobs.  Personally, I think we should have a work for one year, then take four years off based economy.

Let's acknowledge that labor-saving technology eliminates jobs.  Pay people to NOT have children.  Pay people to NOT drive cars.  Make sustainable living FREE so people's natural tendency is to embrace it.  Otherwise, we'll keep banging our heads against Mother Nature's wall... until it cracks all of our skulls.

3.  Ancient prophecy has no control over what we do right now.  This needn't be the end of the world.  We can use this situation to foster a new awareness.  What awareness is that:

GREED isn't GOOD.  SUSTAINABLE LAZINESS is.  Do less. Buy less.  Waste less.  Be more.

4.  GOVERNMENT and BIG BUSINESS can't be in bed together.  They need to be equally powerful and at odds to assure that the little guy (and the Planet) don't get screwed.

In case you're still in denial, you're being screwed right now.  Me too.  And future generations?  We're all screwing them together.

Accept the fact that the whole system is SCREWY.  Support the people who have the courage to stand up against it.
